Meet the InstructorLindsey Newell is a native of Enid, Oklahoma and graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Acting. After college, Lindsey moved to Los Angeles where she spent 13 years acting on stage and camera, as well as a six-year stint performing with the vintage vocal and dance group, international pin-up darlings, The Satin Dollz. Also a writer and producer of cabaret shows, short films and series, her final few years in LA explored another industry avenue: teaching. Lindsey taught acting foundations, on-camera technique, and sitcom acting at Scott Sedita’s Acting Studio in Larchmont Village.
“I believe anyone with enough curiosity and drive to learn can become an actor and improve their skill. Watching the students I had in LA grow in their craft was such a joy and I look forward to providing the same nurturing and supportive environment for students of all skill levels to flourish here in Enid. Acting is doing, so each class will have ample opportunity to learn through doing as well as watching others.” |
