Don Nigro's Tombstone is a theatrical retelling of the events leading to and following the legendary Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Centered on Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, the Clantons, and the citizens of Tombstone, Arizona, the play presents a rich tapestry of historical figures whose ambitions, rivalries, and personal codes collide in a rapidly changing frontier. Characteristically blending wit, poetic language, and historical drama, Nigro explores the blurred line between fact and folklore while examining themes of justice, friendship, mortality, and the enduring power of myth in shaping the American West.
