Come to the Turpin at Gaslight for an evening of 4 One Act plays addressing addiction and murder. We will have you laughing and crying. This is a Gaslight Theatre Fundraiser for building repair. Donations are also accepted.
Produced by: KOFM The one act plays include:
"Interviews with Loneliness" (by Ann Wueler) listens in on three very different women and their eternal wait for the perfect man. They have all been through struggles associated with men, thus enabling them to reveal, now, their truest feelings and desires. "Murder by Midnight (by Jeff Goode) - Bungling hotel detective Dick Piston is hoping for a quiet night at the Lakeview Hotel. But the nights are never quiet in the big city. And when a half-naked widow staggers into his office just before midnight, Dick Piston has only ten minutes to solve her husband's brutal murder or risk losing her case to the day shift. "Beer Girl" (by Walter Wykes) This short, one act play is a three character humorous exploration of the themes of love, sex, freedom and alcoholism. We promise you have never seen anything like it! "The Chocolate Affair (by Stephanie Ann Walker) Beverly checks herself into a seedy motel room to be alone with a plastic pumpkin filled with Halloween candy in this ten-minute comedy about body image, motherhood and one woman trying desperately to "have it all." |
