An ancient Egyptian pharaoh’s secret tomb and treasure have been discovered. Because of its extraordinary value, the tomb has been named the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” A cast of bizarre international characters assembles to view it: a scheming professor, a voluptuous princess, a daffy housekeeper, a slick lounge lizard, an astute writer, and a dealer in exotic antiques. Suddenly, gunshots ring out! The archeological wonder becomes the focus of murder. Heated interrogations, shocking revelations, and hilarious banter eventually give way to the dramatic realization of whodunit. When the killer is caught, the ancient gods of Egypt can rest easily…or can they?

Gaslight Theatre is proud to partner with the Denny Price Family YMCA to provide babysitting services for patrons attending the Saturday February 17, 2024 performance of Death and Deceit on the Nile. This service is free with your ticket purchase but we do need a headcount. Please take a few minutes to register via the link below in order to reserve a spot for your child(ren).

Important additional information:

For children ages 0 - 13
Babysitting services will take place at the Denny Price Family YMCA (415 W Cherokee, Enid OK).
The performance of As You Like It will take place at Stride Bank Center, Ballroom C (301 S. Independence Ave, Enid OK).
You will be asked to fill out an information sheet for each child when dropping them off so please plan accordingly.
Children may be dropped off beginning at 5:30 pm.
The performance of Death and Deceit on the Nile begins at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
All children must be picked up no later than 10:15 pm.
A snack will be provided.
The Y's childcare specialists will be there to help the kids have fun with age-appropriate activities.
