The Awesome 80s Prom By: Ken Davenport, a blast-from-the-past party presented as an immersive interactive theatrical experience.
It’s 1989 senior prom night at Wanaget High School. All your favorite characters from your favorite 80s movies and TV shows are at THE PROM, from Michael Jay, the Class President - A preppie young Republican, to Feung Schwey the Asian Exchange Student, from Louis Fensterspock the computer Geek to the “Heathers” the Cheerleaders, and they’re all competing for Prom King and Queen. And just like on “American Idol,” the audience decides who wins, all while moonwalking to retro hits. Come “Back In Time,” and join the breakdance circle or just sit back and watch the 80s drama unfold. Come on, you know you have a Members Only jacket somewhere… and if you’re lucky, you’ll even get to dance with The Captain of the Football Team. |
