And all the men and women merely players." —Jaques Act 2, scene 7 Duke Senior has been forced into exile from the court by the usurping Duke Frederick. He takes refuge in the Forest of Arden with a band of faithful lords. Rosalind, his daughter, is kept uneasily at court as a companion to her cousin Celia, Frederick's daughter. As You Like It subverts the traditional rules of romance. Gender roles, nature and politics are confused in a play that reflects on how bewildering yet utterly pleasurable life can be. |

YMCA Babysitting CancelledDue to lack of sign-ups, free babysitting at the YMCA has been cancelled for the January 27 performance of As You LIke It. We are offering this service again for our dinner theatre production of Death and Deceit on the Nile on Saturday February 17. Please visit the show page to purchase tickets and sign up for free babysitting for that production.

Food Drive for Loaves & FishesThe Gaslight Teens will be hosting a food drive for Loaves & Fishes - NW Oklahoma in the lobby during performances of As You Like It January 20-28. When you bring in 5 non-perishable food items, you'll get a FREE limited edition Gaslight Teens sticker of your choice! (While supplies last) Simply find the table in the lobby to drop off your donations and choose your sticker before the start of the show.

WW2 Poster RaffleWhen you come to see As You Like It, be sure to stop by the lobby and check out the raffle! Our annual teen show may be Shakespeare but it's set in Oklahoma after World War 2. The teens have signed the back of some nice framed prints of WW2 era posters and you could be lucky enough to take one home! Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and can be purchased in the lobby. Proceeds of the raffle benefit the Gaslight Teens program.
